  3. I liked Billy Graham. He was one of the first to take Christanity on a national tour. I remember seeing him at Jones stadium when I was a kid. There where thousands of people there.

  4. Well this isn't a famous person, but she is related to one. When I worked in Nashville, I worked with Michael W. Smith's sister Kimberly. She is an amazing woman of God and such an encouragement to me. If I wanted to describe her in one word it would be servant. She is always looking for ways to serve others and show the love of Christ. She was a surrogate mother to me since my own lives in Georgia and always had advice or just encouraging words.

  6. I admire Tony Dungy, former coach of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. He has an excellent reputation as a Christian leader, and an equally respected reputation as being a meticulously prepared competitor. That’s a pretty rare combination and Coach Dungy has always impressed me as someone who realizes his blessings and uses them to bless others.

  7. I like to watch CNN Heroes every year. They bring the story of these people that are not famous, but they dedicated their lives to help others. The story which really touched me was about Narayanan Krishnan. He dedicated his live to served more than 1.2 million meals to India's homeless, destitute. If you have a chance watch his video:

  8. I thought and thought..., and I do not really have a famous person that I really admire in a spiritual context. I am a fan of Billy Graham, and I believe he is a very powerful man of God. But, I believe his biggest impact was before my time. I know there are a lot of greedy famous people that do not admire so well, but that is a different story...

  9. Sorry guys I got booted off the system. I'm going to say George W. Love him or hate him he over came a roudy past, including alcoholism, to hold a position that is often ridicululed but made his spiritual beliefs known and never denied them.

  10. This is very easy for me. I think of Billy Graham and Franklin Graham. I have always been fascinated with Billy Graham, since my youth. He has always been a powerful evangelical speaker. He has been an advisor to many presidents. I had a chance to meet and shake his hand in OK City shortly after the bombing on April 19, 1995. His presence there was amazing. Older, slightly frail, but when he came up to those of us working on the bombing site. He said a prayer with us and comforted us. He was with his wife and made his way from group to group along the edge of the rubble and remnants of the Federal building. The man came from North Carolina as soon as he had heard of the tragedy just to be there with the victims families and those of us who were working on recovering the bodies within that concrete grave. His mere presence is something that I will never forget.

  11. I forgot to mention his son, Franklin. He has taken the torch from his father and is continuing his ministry. His work in Korea and third world countries is noteworthy.
